The Touch bar cabinet has won the BIG SEE Product Design Award 2025
We are delighted to announce that the BIG SEE curatorial team has selected the Mw Design Touch bar cabinet for the BIG SEE Product Design Award 2025. This international recognition confirms what we ourselves believe: furniture design is not just about function, but also about experience, atmosphere, and lasting impressions.

The Touch bar cabinet: where art meets functionality
A The award-winning Touch bar cabinet was designed by Andras Meszarosfounder of Mw Design and wood designer. What makes this piece of furniture special is that it combines the coldness of stone and the warmth of wood in a fingerprint-patterned surface that symbolizes uniqueness and personality.
For us, this award signifies that that outstanding quality, modern technology, and a unique design philosophy can truly create lasting value.
Mw Design at the BIG DESIGN 2025 event
Upon receiving the award, we had the opportunity to participate in the BIG DESIGN 2025 event in Ljubljana. At the event, we have not only exhibited the Touch bar cabinet, but anyone who was curious about the history, materials, and atmosphere of this award-winning piece of furniture also had the opportunity to meet us in person.
In addition, we participated in the BIG SEE Winners & Perspectives program, where we talked in detail about the Touch bar cabinet.
Invitation as speakers – Designing What Matters
We were particularly honored that the organizers have invited us to speak in the Common Sense as Balance: Designing What Matters section.
This means that we could not only speak to the audience through our furniture, but also share our thoughts on what responsible design means to us: how to combine emotions, functionality, and long-term value in objects.
